When I read that the 10,000 dpi Reflecta scanner took 7 minutes to do a
35mm 8-bit scan I thought maybe the USB 2.0 interface was the limiting
factor. But it's not. Assuming 9 MB/s transfer speed (what I get
reading an SD card on a USB 2.0 port) the transfer time is only 2.5
minutes for a 1,350 MB image.

to catch up. I can't imagine it has more than one physical speed. I have
