If the two images have the exact same pixel dimensions, as these did, then
dragging the layer while holding shift guarantees perfect alignment
instantly. Now, if the images are not identically sized (for example if
you just took part of another image to layer on the other), then this
trick won't work and you'll have to use the move tool. I always had a hell
of a time getting alignment perfect using the move tool, though.
