Despite the 24 MB BMP image size it's probably only 24 bits/pixel or 8
bits/color. No real advantage over a high quality JPEG.

I thought that image should have come out better than
it did. Send me the ORF file and let me take a crack at it.

Thanks very much for the offer Chuck. However,
that is impossible.
That RAW image and many of its mates, as well as
most of the epic ski holiday I had with my son, all taken with the
E-510, were lost when I saved them to flash drives when I was hard-up
for storage and just before adding the much larger H Drive ( which
failed 8 months ago). One Flash drive failed totally, and the backup
copy lost a few, the remainder recovered only with computer consultant
asistance.
I do have a copy in BMP format, but that is 24 MB size
:-(.
I did the editing in Raw Therapee - which I no longer have after
the 8 months-ago crash.
Again, thanks for the offer. I appreciate
it.
