Yesterday I cycled to the mountain villages around Alicante, as I usually do on 
weekends, stopping for a brief rest on the plaza in Aigües, exactly 20 km from 
home (and 370 m uphill). I sat in the shade on the church steps to drink my 
Aquarius, and was joined by a new friend:
