Thanks for looking Chris,
There was mention of a spitfire at an airshow recently, I thought I
heard and saw one while in Llandudno around the 21st or 22nd of July,
could that be possible, I am no plane spotter (that was my stepfathers
realm) but the only similar plane I have seen flying is the mustang and
this certainly sounded very nice but alas I had no camera nearby.
the discussion of drones was intersting as there was a notice pinned to
the gate saying that they were using drones to do a geological survey
(Bangor university) and they named the "pilot" etc and it all looked
very efficient.
However unpiloted drones and cars are quite a worry for me especially as
I am in the software business.

Thanks, Ian. There’s a good variety of shots there!
I think that there is a “creamy" quality to shots with the Fuji sensor. I have the
“consumer”-grade zooms (16-50 and 50-230) and the quality of the images is similar to yours.
I really like your 500mm shot, and that stilted crane tender is a rather smart
device.
The stone with pointers to places brings back memories. A friend (a pretty
one) used to live in Dwygyfylchi near Penmaenmawr while I was learning to fly
the Hawk at Valley. On a night flight I decided to visit the village and got
rather low and rather too close to the hill next door. Foolish person that I
was!
