I have only had my Fuji X-Pro 1 for a couple of years, so those of you who know
my indifference towards technical details will not be surprised that I
discovered only this week that the DNG pictures (once converted from RAW by
Lightroom) from the Fuji are huge, 50-60 MB. This compares to the Leica M8 at
around 7-8 MB. I shoot RAW only (i.e. no RAW+JPG, pure RAW for me thank you),
and while I suppose the X-Pro 1 has more megapixels than the M8, I don't think
it is that many more.
Have others who have the Fuji X cameras noticed the same thing?
Good thing storage is cheap these days.
Cheers,
Nathan
