Not sure which "certain cultural aesthetics" you are referring to, but
I definitely have a weak spot for low-riders. I've been wanting to
build a lead-sled for years. They serve absolutely no practical
purpose, but they are a objects of art. Just like most forms of art,
there is no practical purpose.
