I also saw your previous message with regards the RAW conversion. I think thats
whats going on processingwise in the newer cameras as they include modes such
as, sunset, food, etc.

One reason why I'm not considering the EM-x system at all. Tired of
being left on the sidelines. No disposable income at the moment, so
moot point.

A bit of both. I'm also a whole lot better than I used to be. I'm not
at all pleased with any of the DCRAW-based converters for E-1 files.
Well, maybe one exception, but for the most part, they just completely
trash the top stop and turn highlights pink.
I revisited pictures that I had processed in Olympus Studio in
Lightroom 5, trying to get a match. As hard as I tried, there was no
getting a match. You literally can't get it with ACR. The results
aren't necessarily "bad", but they aren't the same. If you are trying
to get a particular "look" you just can't.
You CAN with Capture One, though.
