I agree with Paul. I wouldn't want to see the shadows lifted too much
on the foreground. I think it looks good as is.
But I do have a question. What's the cause of the dark triangle in the sky and the other dark streak leading away from the distant clouds. Is this the effect of high altitude winds which have torn the tops off the clouds and swept them toward the foreground? Other than the photomerge, which took about five minutes to generate, crop and return to Lightroom, I spent maybe 60 seconds on the image in Lightroom shuffling sliders around. The halos you see are artifacts from cranking the clarity up too high on an overly large image file. Yes, literally 60 seconds of editing. It shows... If the image is a keeper, I'll tweak it more carefully before sending out to the lab. I think I've got 6000 x 6000 pixels to work with.Regardless, it's a nice image. I like that there's just enough light on the gate in the foreground to tell you what it is. -- _________________________________________________________________ Options: http://lists.thomasclausen.net/mailman/listinfo/olympus Archives: http://lists.thomasclausen.net/mailman/private/olympus/ Themed Olympus Photo Exhibition: http://www.tope.nl/ |
