Yesterday morning I took advantage of the cool morning and went on a
40-mile cycling ride, which ends at a dog park in Higley. Unlike other dog
pargs, this one has a large pond with a concrete pier, which encourages dogs to
take a running leap at tennis balls and firsbees. Here is a pair of dogs
chasing after tenns balls that their owner is throwing with the aid of a sling
for greater distance:

while at the same time this one was vigorously chasing after a frisbee, never
catching it in mid-air but still putting on a good show:

These dogs actually have more positive social activity and outdoor
exercise than most children.
