There's a line in 'Bliss' by Peter Carey about how pollution has made for
fantastic sunsets. Of course, from memory, it's from Harry's mongrel son, and
also after Harry has woken up in Hell. These fictitious data points may
undermine the view's credibility a tad. ;)
But, yeah, for "beauty" there is no need for correlation with value of
anthropic impact. I like taking photos of pretty human detritus & decay. I have
no other grounds for this statement on "beauty" than the above personal
proclivity and that I quite like Moose's photo. :)
