Piers. Sorry if we miss you. We pick up the car May2 and return it in
Stirling before the flight home so won't be returning to Inverness. The
plan is a loop up and over to Islands and Glencoe area and ??
I'm sure we will be asking for more suggestions.

Well our house would have been under 2000m of ice just 10-15k years ago.
There are grooves in the rock in front of the house indicating the
direction of flow. Removing erratics (damn Canadian "immigrants") was
backbreaking work for the first settlers many of whom were Scots. The
piles and fence rows still remain, some still growing. The soil is more
conducive to "raising" erratics than other crops ;)
