Many years ago I worked in a natural habitat zoo for a time. We had black
bears, cougars, bobcats, deer, gray wolves, bison, various snakes, birds
and elk (wapiti). We frequently went into the habitats with these animals,
and without a doubt, at least during the rutting season, the Elk was the
most dangerous to us. Once he shed his antlers he became a docile as a cow,
but in his glory, lookout.
