Our cycling memorials tend to be more intricate, usually in the form of a
junk bike painted white and set into the ground with a plaque noting the name
of the victim and the date of the tragedy. Next time I see one I'll take a
photo and post it.
I've had a number of near misses in the past month due to people running
red lights and stop signs. One of the drivers in a BMW SUV who ran a stop sign
doubled back and told me I should be more careful. I reared back and
demolished the driver's door with my foot.
