According to TPE, this week and through the weekend is the first chance
at catching the sun setting directly over the old dragstrip by where I live.
I went out tonight for the first attempt - unfortunately, all the really
pretty clouds that were there around 5:30 got blown away, leaving me
with a mostly clear sky and some cloud/haze near the horizon.
I'm going to keep trying all week and then pick the best. Tomorrow I
may go out with the 14-54 instead of the 12-50. A touch longer on the
wide end, but I think it's better glass, so I'll compare.
