These were interesting, though. Even in those communities allowing fireworks
sales in Calif., the sparklers are terrible, anemic things that spit little
sparks out the front.
These things, sold through a completely different channel, are as lively as the
old ones. But they are also different. Put the old ones on a cake and you got
gritty residue on the frosting. These left no residue at all. Nice!
And boy of boy that was a good cake.
