I have crawled out from under my rock . . . but only for a few moments and
then I need to get dark again. Slapped a linear polarizer on the NEX 7,
took a picture with lens axis at 90 degrees from sun. Polarizer seemed to
do what polarizers do. Back to the dark. Bill "Dark Man" Barber

I would think that this means that you would have a natural
polarization effect to the AA filter. As such, you should see a bit of
angular darkening as a matter of course with directional light. Also,
I think that the primary effect would be a darkening of the entire
image (at least in one direction) if the linear polarizer were to be
aligned with the material.
