You have a pair of Mallard ducks. The one with the green head is the
male and the plainer, speckled brown one is the female. A wild guess on
my part about why they prefer your pool is that it's probably relatively
safe from predators. As Tina suggested maybe Taco or Cheetah could
discourage them. Or maybe a fake fox or hawk would discourage them as
well. Read this wiki piece on their habits and maybe something else
will occur to you.

They're commonly hunted for food here and I suspect much the same over
their habitat (which is very large). The wiki says "This species is the
ancestor of most breeds of domestic ducks."
