I've played it safe over the years and have stayed with Hoya, Tiffen, and
Kenko primarily. Cokin is excellent for specialty filters such as graduated
and split field. My variable ND filter is made by Kodak. Kodak and Rosco are
good brands for gelatin filters if you want to go that route.
