Read Chuck's post. It is not just viruses. In a way, the viruses are an
outdated threat. There are other threats which are patched by the provider of
the OS. This is what XP will no longer have. And I am fairly sure that most
businesses will have migrated away from XP by the time support is discontinued.
We migrated to Windows 7 last year. It was a huge effort because we have many
legacy bespoke applications that needed to be tweaked, but our IT department
was definitely not going to continue using a non-supported OS.
