A reminder that two linear polarizers can be used to make a variable
ND filter. Actually, you can use one linear in front of a circular to
accomplish the same thing.
Also, another reminder that the linears may have a deeper effect than
circulars in some circumstances. The linears are pretty much just a
bad thing with semi-silvered SLR mirrors. They can also be a bad thing
with SOME and I mean SOME sensors with offset microlenses.
