Yes, but probably somewhere in between. I like how the villa or
whatever it is in the distance on the right is highlighted by the sun.
That provides a great focus point for the eyes to flow towards.
Overall, my impression of the first version was that it made a great
B&W, but had color added. Colorized B&W works great when the colors
and the contrasts aren't competing for attention. A mid point
interpretation would certainly have a distinct "Kodachrome" look to
it.
I do very much like the picture, though. I'm thinking that you
criticize staring at trees too much.
