Good effort, Ken.
We are on the point of refurbishing our Annex, a former stable that was
converted to living accommodation around 40 years ago. Part of the work will
include replacing electric heating (storage radiators) with central heating
supplied from a gas combi boiler. With newly insulated roof and walls it
should be a very efficient living space – and suitable as a new office for me.
I'll be able at last to vacate the cellar . . . :-)
It would be good to have some sort of solar energy in the equation, but that
will have to remain limited to the conservatory on one wall.
