The 1930s were a strain on many families, including my own. Possessions
were valued, regardless of their source or condition. This small saucer,
labled "Staffordshire, W Adams and Sons, England", was my favorite as a
child. I ate many a snack and piece of pie from this saucer. Somehow,
it is still with me. It seemed appropriate for a rainy day project.
