Thm Hogan predicted that is seems. Over-hyped gets over- griped:
http://www.sansmirror.com/newsviews/why-the-sony-a7-doesnt.html
"As with any hyped-up announcement—and Sony appears to have made a
fairly extensive leak campaign to help create the buzz for the actual
announcement—the hype exceeds the reality. No doubt the A7 and A7r are
very good cameras. But you heard it here first: they're going to get a
fairly quick readjustment from hype to gripe once cameras ship."
I also do LIKE his idea of an OMF-1 though.
I don't understand Sony's "Lossless" RAW though--it isn't lossless as
picked up early by Fred at FM---not a biggie but might show up in high
contrast B&W ,HDR
or pushing shadows a ton. Why not give a non compressed raw option
and let the user decide?

Raise your hand if you want an OMF-1, MIke
