I vaguely recall Oly now has metadata to fix linear distortions with
most MFT lenses in ACR? There is no tab in ACR though I believe Chuck
and you have mentioned to taper that if needed like with Canyon
systems. I am reasonably the EM-1 can read the new CA correction
metadata though that is the only body to enable that. DXO has
adjustable profiles (can apply less correction if framing affected
adversely) for most of the lenses and a new spiffy prime NR algorithm
--it is S-----L---O---W but thorough. The first iteration was too tough
on detail but is better now with the first update and the highlight
recovery has improved.
The corrections are still global except for some WB thingie on Macs but
that may change. One can export directly to PS with Tiff as they
clearly know that many will use this as a fancy converter and finish up
in PS---speeds up the workflow.
Might be time for another quick look-see?
Sometimes use DXO for higher ISO/flash, Mike
