Nice, Chris. Also nice to hear that it's being run as a non-profit
simply to keep it open. We're lucky to still have the 49'er (named
because it's on what was old Indiana 49), and it's thriving. After a
storm took out the original screen a couple of years back, they took the
insurance money and built a new screen and kept on going. Last winter
they installed a digital projector. When the current owners took over a
number of years ago, the installed an FM broadcast system for movie
audio so you don't have to rely on the (mostly broken) window speakers
from the 50's. If your car has a solid audio system, it ain't a bad way
to see a movie on a Summer's evening.
