I'm not sure why. The E-M1 is almost exactly the same height and width as an
E-400. Significantly deeper, but that's
mostly the v. deep grip. Also heavier
With included adapter, it will work fully with your 4/3 lenses, probably even
focusing faster. And opens up the
possibilities of the extensive range of µ4/3 lenses.
You might consider taking your favorite small E-thingie in somewhere where you
can hold both.
The E-Pen line is smaller, but the OM-Ds are about the size of the E-4xx and
E-6xx series.
