Why thank you! I'm more of lurker even on FB, so not sure how you came to that
conclusion, but thank you :) CCed Nico since she's no longer on the list, I
think (but does shoot Oly when she's not using her phone).

I'm in a 11'x25' room, 7.5' high at the walls, 8.5' in the center (runs down
the middle of a "1.5" story house). I've tried once or twice to use Room EQ
Wizard to measure it, but it was more playing around and figuring out how to
use the software than any really meaningful measurements.
Can't get too loud, it just bounces around and smears. A nice side benefit,
however, is that the living room downstairs (half of the 'loft' opens into high
ceilinged living area) and kitchen get filled when played at reasonable levels
so it's great for background music. Plan is for corner bass traps on the wall
behind the speakers, some absorption and/or diffusion at first reflection
points on the side walls, and possibly a QRD style diffuser on the back wall.
In that order of priority. Pretty sure the first two I can manage this year.

Tomorrow is pick up the wife, mother-in-law, and cousin coming from Italy day.
AKA, "put the room back how it was day."
