It has saved me on at least one very critical occasion when the action
and light was changing too fast for me to react in my normal manual
mode. I even tried some pure auto mode on the E-M5 yesterday with the
little pop-up flash. Not bad at all. What I didn't like about auto
mode is that it inhibits all of my camera customizations including the
removal of focus control from the shutter button.
