1) A box of 100 Gepe glassless, plastic 35mm slide mounts. 2mm thick,
snap together plastic halves, light gray on one side, dark gray on the
other. Box opened but none ever used. Like new condition. Weight 11 oz.
2) A Spiratone eyepiece magnifier for OM. Slips over the eyepiece frame
like the vari-magni finder does. This one has a straight view only, not
90 degrees like the vari-magni. Possibly more useful than the
vari-magni for some applications... microscope or telescope perhaps.
I judge it to be about 5X or about twice the mag of the vari-magni.
Very good multi-element optics and focusing eyepiece. Less pincushion
distortion and chroma than the vari-magni. At 5X the field of view is
very small... a bit less than the center rectangle of one of JH's
rule-of-thirds scribed focusing screens. It's also very small. The
optical tube is only about 20mm diameter and 30mm long. Installed in a
steel clip-on frame that also allows the optical tube to pivot on a
hinge up and away from the eyepiece for an unmagnified view.
Comes in a red-lined, black faux leather case to which the years have
not been kind. But the magnifier itself is in like new condition.
Weight 2 oz.
