Mom used to make those. She was a competent, if uninspired cook, raising four
boys in the late 40s and 50s. Whack a head
of iceberg into six wedges, pour a mix catsup and mayo over them - instant
salad. It was a favorite then.
I do get a kick out of seeing the same thing offered for real money now.
Liked the "tacos" too, with XLNT taco sauce. Sound it out.
Yup, still have a Betty Crocker Cook Book. Was it Mom's? Dunno.
