I had not thought about their lightening just before falling, but I think I
had seen something similar and just never put it together. The main this
year is that the red leaves on several trees have increased over a three
week period and on Nov 1 the trees are still holding on. I would say it is
prime for some of these maples right now. I've never seen it go on so long.
