I've handled quite a few OM bodies. I don't think there's any more difference
than natural variations in batches of
paint on OM-1 and 2 bodies.
I'm not sure how one could even tell today, as the paint on various bodies is
all very old and had been exposed to
different handling and environments. Even paint on a NIB early model might well
not look as it did when new.
The OM-4s look the same as the 1 & 2 to me. The OM-3Ti is very different, and
beautiful. The OM-4T(i) is also different,
the paint is pretty enough, but more delicate than the earlier ones.
I've never seen an M-1 or OM-2s.
