Likewise. Since the focus point flashes when you hit focus you know
where the focus point is. If, as I have done on the 5D and E-M5, you
have separated focus to another button from the shutter button you won't
waste a shot since you'll see the errant focus point before you shoot.
You might waste a few seconds as you move the point back to center but I
have not found it to be much of a problem. If I needed to shoot quickly
I'd simply move the errant focus point over the subject and then reframe
the shot. I often do that anyhow since the center of the image isn't
necessarily where I want the focus.
