Probably not a problem. Assuming it has a low-pass filter, which I think
most subs do, low frequencies are often mixed into mono, and anyway, lfs
usually aren't directional. Of course a lot of electronic thingsmixed from
direct inputs would be potentially troublesome...
But who wants to listen to that?

Some passive subs are built with a 2-channel crossover and a dual-coil
driver, with two parallel-wound voice coils on the same form. Was never
sure how that worked, since it would seem that the two LF signals would be
fighting each other for magnetic control.
