If the D600 and 6D would not be around they might have asked even more ;-).
Interesting is that they introduced a 'proper' hood for the 12-50mm as
well. Several list members have this lens I guess?
About the battery grip, *I* would have been annoyed if it would have been
the same price or more expensive. The e-m5 two piece grip is easily more
complex and thus expensive to make then this simple one-piece e-m1 grip. So
it is priced accordingly, which I can appriciate.
It will be interesting to see what this camera does in the market, and if
it will push prices of 4/3 glass up (again). I'm following zuiko's mostly
on eBay in Germany, and I failed yet to see a strong upward price trend.
Looks like the contrary, actually. This could be in line with the first
impression on dpreview, that focussing of 4/3 is much better then on
previous m43 camera's, but a long way from the DSLR's. Comparable with the
Canon 70D.
