Went to see "Book of Mormon" in Chicago tonight. House sound manager is
a longtime friend of ours, so we got to chat before the show and after
the show, he brought us in the back and on stage, then gave us the
backstage/downstairs tour.
Obviously, the E-M5 isn't really allowed inside a professional
theatre.... but the iPhone is. As we were standing on the dark stage,
illuminated by a single big CCF bulb on a pole socket (known in theatre
lingo as a "ghostlight"), I shot a portrait of Michael. Not bad. The
lights were already out in the theatre behind him, so unfortunately I
couldn't really get his "office" in the photo, but I like it nonetheless.
