Hi Moose,
I respect your opinions. But this is not the E-1, it is the E-510, with
twice the resolution. When I hit the focus correctly, its images are
approaching those of the Fuji. It just happened that I had the Fuji set up
with a manual lens, suitable for street shots. So, for a walk around the
bushes, I chose the E-510 and the 35mm Macro (AF). Because my wife has been
ill, I have limited time to grab a few images.
