There is a high likelihood of it being true. The "rent-o-cops" are now
told to enforce zero-tolerance. Common sense doesn't apply. A few
years ago, I was working security at arena football games. We were
told to keep an eye out for variations of this, but to always do a
non-confrontational, information-warning first (if at all). Based on
the response, it would escalate to the badge-wearing guys coming over
and addressing it on a permanent basic. But that always depended on
the response of the individuals involved. If they told me to do
something physically impossible to myself without a prosthetic, I
would press a little button on my radio and that person was gone.
(poof)
What is so crazy about this is that ol pappa telling his kid to fetch
a beer from the fridge is illegal.
