Depends on the app. The default one is pretty simple and inflexible, with focus
and exposure from one, central square.
Camera+ allows separate focus and exposure on different parts of the subject,
both lockable, has a level and zoom in, WB
lock and several other features. FAR better than the apple default camera. It's
free. There's also a 'pro' version for $2.
There are endless camera apps for the iPhone and iPad and endless apps for
manipulating the resulting images. Many do
both at once. I've liked some images from Paper Camera.
