Boy are we ever venturing down into one of the big three no nos... But the fun part of it for me is that I see how history treats a politician compared to how that politician is viewed and reported during the time. It is said that a newspaper is the first draft of history. There's a reason why it's a "draft". Because like any draft document, there are a lot of things wrong. Historians tend to work "big picture" as well as "long view". Historians also tend to compare to other similar characters and times. -- Ken Norton ken@xxxxxxxxxxx http://www.zone-10.com -- _________________________________________________________________ Options: http://lists.thomasclausen.net/mailman/listinfo/olympus Archives: http://lists.thomasclausen.net/mailman/private/olympus/ Themed Olympus Photo Exhibition: http://www.tope.nl/ |
