Great stuff, Paul. For a pano such as this, I think you can get away with
much variation as to the centre of rotation, because all the action is in a
reasonable distant more or less flat plane. It's when you need to assemble a
VR scene including foreground and background, or a 3D scene at close
quarters that the precision is needed.

We've had our share of storms this week. Yes, it's a PITA for accomplishing
anything outside, but makes for great photos.
This one is a handheld spread of 8 verticals, rotated around an approximate
exit pupil, then stitched in Hugin. Again, the E-M5 and the Panny 20/1.7.
