That lens on the bare E-M5 body has proven to be the winning "walkaround"
combination for me. I can't imagine carrying the E-1 with me everywhere -
it's just too big. I bought the 20/1.7 based partly on research and partly
based on recommendations from the group. So far, it's turned out to be a
solid performer. I've learned how to avoid the banding issue that shows up
sometimes if you try to tweak a dark photo too much.
At some point, I may buy the HLD-6 - I haven't had a chance to hold one, so
I don't know how heavy it is. I'm sure it will help balance the body
better with legacy glass, though. But the full stack would probably be too
big for daily carry.
I'm not convinced that the 25/1.4 is the best choice. The speed difference

Agreed. That lens weighs almost nothing. And it's not much thicker than
one of those lenscap WA's that I almost bought.
So far, I've tried the E-M5 with the 20/1.7, the 12-50 it came with, the OM
50/1.2, and the OM 75-150.
