If you look at this photo, and know that the little boy, Gavin, has Down
Syndrome, would you think that I was trying to hide that fact with the
sunglasses? My wife is afraid that his parents, the ones in the photo
with him, will think that and be offended. She said when she looked at
the photo, that's what she first thought.

That never even crossed my mind. Before I took this shot, I noticed
that Gavin had grabbed his mom's sunglasses and was putting them on,
playing with them, and had a big, huge, joyful grin on his face. That's
what inspired me to take the shot in the first place. I saw a kid
having a blast with sunglasses.
I'm just curious if I'm the only one who doesn't see otherwise?
Thanks. Oh, by the way - I did get permission from both parents to post
the family photo before we left the park.
