Maybe here is part of the key regarding why I have no problems with
Firefox. My machine runs about 18 hours/day but is always shut down and
rebooted in the morning. Memory leaks are cumulative. Rebooting now
and then fixes many problems. I also tend to shut my apps down and
restart several times during the day. That's not deliberate to avoid
memory leaks, it's just that I frequently find it easier to close the
app to get it out of the way on the screen. That may help me too. In
any case I see none of the things you guys are complaining about. It
just works.
