I misspoke. I shouldn't have said it wasn't possible to do 64-bit. What
isn't possible is to have more than 4GB of RAM. My Dell XPS-410 also
has an Intel PC965 chipset. The chipset supports a maximum of 8GB of
RAM. However, the memory required is DDR2 PC2 which was never made in
more than 1GB modules. Since the XPS-410 only has 4 memory sockets the
max memory supported is 4GB. Putting 64-bit Win7 on the machine might
increase the available memory by a small amount but wouldn't be worth it.
