Over the last ten years my #2 son has averaged four times that annual distance
- on a bicycle.
I've seen cars that have done tiny mileage over some time and it's a problem
sometimes.
When my father died I drove his car for a couple of months.
He'd drien it to and from the shops - about 5m per day, fo months.
Sluggish ++.
At first I thought it was because it was a 1.6L with automatic trans.
After a week with a bit of leadfoot and long trip - t was flying!
Other things that affect low mileage 'bargains' - rubber still perishes, oil
turns to sludge and so on.
Machines do like to be used - they have feelings.
