Simple answer - take a holiday in Austria or somewhere similar with a really
good medical system and reputation - and have it done as a private out-patient
while there. The savings would pay for the holiday easily. It's possibly a
better option even if you're insured! Medical tourism is becoming more popular
- there were a lot of Germans having holidays in Singapore, for instance.
A few high profile examples would put pressure on the system.
