although I use a mac the Idea is the same, I use the ssd for the 
operating system and programs etc it makes the whole thing very snappy 
but then I have a hybrid drive ( a 750GB  hard drive with 32GB SSD built 
in ) where I store the images, apart from all ssd I can't see it being 
faster.

I have a couple of the same samsung ssd's and it depends which you 
ordered some come with the kit for a couple of dollars extra I can't see 
which you ordered from the link
